Where did time go?

Wow. Two years later....where did the time go. All you parents know. Three kids, a husband, work, home, and a puppy, that's where it went!

In the meantime I have taken up quilting and I love it. I can accomplish so much more creatively in the little spare time I have by sewing rather than knitting.

Getting Started...

Morning! At this point Blue Bird is in it's infancy. My goal is for it to become a place where I can write about the things in my life that bring me joy- hence the name Blue Bird.

Some things that bring happiness to my life:

• my best friend, husband and partner of 12 years, Rob
• our three young children
• my son Ryan, from my first marriage, who is now a grown man with two kids of his own!
• staying close to family
• learning to knit
• dabbling in mosaics
• working in the yard
• reading
• cooking and eating
• drinking good beer
